2013 Yamaha FZ8

Does it all. Amazingly Well.

The revised 2013 Yamaha FZ8 features both compression and rebound damping adjustability on the new front fork, while the new shock now features both preload and compression damping adjustability, as well as a stiffer spring. In addition, new fuel injection settings provide a sportier engine feeling, quicker revving power charater, and more direct and linear feeling from the throttle to the rear wheel.

Combining sports performance and aggressive naked styling, with all day riding comfort, the 2013 Yamaha FZ8 is a special breed of motorcycle. Thanks to its upright riding position and comfortable ergonomics, the word practical comes to mind. But don't confuse practical with dull. It delivers solid performance and handling thanks to its 779cc inline four engine and new adjustable suspension front and rear. If you are a sport oriented rider the 2013 FZ8 is a great value.

Practicality Plus

The motorcycle world is becoming more highly specialized by the day.

Special niche models are popping up everywhere. Unfortunately, most of us can only afford one bike. The FZ8 is a brilliant "all-rounder" with an upright riding position that brings fun and excitement to each and every ride. It is ready to slice its way through the "twisties", cruise the back roads in comfort and style or make that daily commute a bunch more enjoyable. For 2013 we have added a more stylish muffler and a new adjustable suspension system front and back. The FZ8 is the ultimate everyday sport bike.

Great memory! Yes indeed we did back in 2010. Time flies when you are having fun eh? :D

Now with the revised model for 2013 it was time for it to again come back into the light. :revv:

Don't know why, but I like this bike. For some reason it appeals to me on a different level. So I voted cool, when someone figures out why I like it, let me know... :)

This has got to be the only modern naked bike left that doesn't have that "trying too hard" stink all over it. By all reports, it's easy to handle, the seat is comfortable, the visual style is appealing but simple, and it'll do whatever you want it to do. Awesome, says I.

It's also the only "middleweight" naked bike out there. It's got good power, good looks, good handling, and good comfort!

It's a pretty cool bike...800cc is about the perfect size, Goldilocks...not too big, not too small. I like the naked styled bikes, but now that I've had one for a few years I'm ready for a bike with some weather protection...

Voted: Cool

Later.

Yeah...I feel it too.

There's something about this one. I dunno if it's the four pipes all arranged underneath the case, or the muscular way the tank hunches into the steering head, or all the steely bolts glinting against the blacked out engine and looking like a starry sky. But it's something. It I ever decide to give the sport class a spin, it'll be on something a lot like this. All the power you need to cut loose and -feel- a sport bike, but without the sort of in-your-face 'light it up and burn it down' styling that attracts fan boys and doomed beginners. Throwing this one an Awesome.
