I am really kind of surprised on this one? You see Nj has very affluent areas where $20K bikes are a dime a dozen and I honestly have never seen one on the road, I freuquently am in NYC area another affluent area Conn and will make runs up to Bear Mountain where if it aint Ducati, they look right down there nose at ya  well ok ya got me there it aint that bad but I still haven't seen one? I guess it doesn't mean it isn't cool though so there ya have it SURPRISE :D

There are actually quite a few running around Calgary, and I know one owner who loves his.I like the concept of the bike, but the seat is basically a notch that locks you in, and makes the bike a no-go for me. Overall however, its cool at least for being unique and apparently quite competent as well.

I live in Fairfield County, CT which is one of the most affluent areas in the US, and I have never seen one on the road either! Not one! I see dodo load of Ducatis and have even seen few Desmosedicis.

I went with: fail

It's an interesting concept idea, but (to me) it's like D&G designing a sledgehammer. Close up, parts of the bike look really neat, but as a whole, it's just "crude" to what Ducati can do. The engine is awesome, and they have the same engine in the Multistrada (off the top of my head), but as suggested the Diavel's locked in riding position isn't as comfortable.

I'm surprised as well it continues to sell and is offered. When it first came out I thought it was a mistake, not it's just an oddity. If I was looking at the Diavel I think I'd consider a SuperDuke, which is a more purpose built bike.

Your Coolness Factor of the 2015 Ducati Diavel is:

Awesome (3 points) 32% 32% [ 11 ]
Cool (2 points) 35% 35% [ 12 ]
Uncool (1 point) 12% 12% [ 4 ]
Fail (0 point) 21% 21% [ 7 ]

Total votes : 34

= a Coolwall Factor of 59.8%

NOTES: A very interesting bike offered up by Ducati that many feel is the "red-headed stepchild in the attic". Did Ducati do enough to "revise it" and re-define it? Probably not. Is it a bad bike? Not really, it's purpose is a little muddy, it's design isn't really Ducati. The one thing that makes it cool is that it is different and the non-Ducati-Ducati.

Next 2014 TMW Cool Wall bike is now up for voting on, have fun!!

Looks like Ducati's version of a Yamaha V-Max.

You nailed it! I was trying to think what it was reminding me of.

Just doesn't look as comfy as the Max.

Haven't ridden one, but have sat on them at motorcycle shows. It felt very comfortable. Appearances are deceiving.
