It's nice to see the Spyder getting some decent votes here for a change.

I love it. Especially this new iteration, I think they hit a home run with the styling.

Trikes are for fat dudes, hacks are for WWII buffs and the Morgan looks like it ought to have a scrub bucket with a washboard bolted to the tail and Jed Clampette behind the wheel. The Spyder is a beautiful machine, well appointed and slathered with a full compliment of modern doo-dads and whiz-bangs. I'd like to see the price come down a bit, and I'd like to see BRP put some more aggressive marketing behind this great little three-wheeler. But it's absolutely sexy, offers the open-air experience and, in my opinion, appropriately bridges the gap between adventurous and practical. I'm voting Awesome.

I voted: Cool.

There was no "meh" vote so to me, it bordered more on Cool and Uncool. That said, I've personally never been a fan of the Can-Am Spyder design. I do get it, but it just isn't for me. I gave it a Cool vote because it's good to see Can-Am, in spite of it's opposition and headwinds, to keep going with the Spyder lineup. Now with the new F3 line, Can-Am expands that line up. While I think there are just too many Spyder models now, Can-Am obviously doesn't and is willing to take the risk. And to me, that's what motorcycling is all about, risk vs enjoyment, thus Can-Am must be having a blast!

For price, I'd definitely like to see a Spyder around the $13k mark. Even the F3 (the cheapest F3) is $19,499 USD. But the 2015 Can-Am Spyder RS is close at US MSRP Price: $14,990.

I still haven't seen more than a handful on the roads, but they do turn heads.

I know it's not a motorcycle, but I'll be riding one when my legs don't work anymore, so I had to give it a cool. There is something weird about them that's for sure but you ride them on the outside and that's what it's all about for me. Still riding between the snow storms in Toronto, dodging the rain. "There ain't nothin like it" is right.

Though I do admire that old Morgan, yes indeed, I do. Where do I find one of those?

I'm going to take a different stance than last time and give it props for being an improvement on the original. Just like when atvs first came out, people hated them because they were not motorcycles, but really I need to ride one a judge it for what it is. If I could afford to do it I would buy my dad one tomorrow because his health has him no longer able to handle the two bikes he owns. Really until any of us ride one we are likely not qualified to say whether its good at its intended purpose or not. One thing it definitely is not though is a motorcycle.

Oddly enough, if Can-Am designed the Spyder to make it a leaning three wheeler like this custom job, I'd give it a cool, heck, even an awesome vote.

Leaning would move it closer to the motorcycle experience, while still retaining the Can-Am advantage of three contact patches.
