Yeah but many voters seem to factor in value when they vote. I have seen many voters say something like, "it would be awesome but at that price, I had to downgrade it to cool", or something to that effect.

This is the first Norton I've liked, and having said that, I really like how this bike looks. It's retro made modern, like the new rash of pony cars filling up every showroom floor in America, and I think the final product is very, very attractive.

I do, however, think there is something to be said for voting based on price. Tell me true, if every bike you've ever voted Fail on was offered to you for free, would you really not take them? I certainly would, so for me price is at least a deal breaker. Maybe $23K isn't a lot of money for some people, but in my neck of the woods that may as well be $230K. Still, there are a lot of things I could never afford that I still think are cool.

This among them. A solid Cool, but not my style of ride so not Awesome.

Well then, I better go with my wife's advise above and vote Awesome...lol.

Really great bike, loads of power from a parallel-twin (80) and oozing good style to boot! Like everyone, I think the price is just darn too high for it, but it's uber-exclusive (right now) so I'm sure the prices will come down as production goes up. Would like to see it around the MSRP $13k mark.

Otherwise, I want one! :revv:

The sound of these Norton's are really intoxicating as they rev to the moon if you haven't heard one yet.

Total Motorcycle model page: http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/motorcyc ... -961SF.htm

Your Coolness Factor of the 2014 Norton Commando 961SF is:

Awesome (3 points) 56% [ 22 ]
Cool (2 points) 31% [ 12 ]
Uncool (1 point) 13% [ 5 ]
Fail (0 point) 0% [ 0 ]

Total votes: 39

= a Coolwall Factor of 81.2%

NOTES: With the perfect balance of old and new and looks to spare we have a sure winner here... the only thing that is lacking is an affordable price. I'm hoping as production goes up the price drops quite a bit, but as Grey Thumper said "Anyway, it's the Cool Wall, not the great-value-for-money wall." Hurry up there Norton and start making more of em!

The LAST 2014 TMW Cool Wall bike is now up for voting on, have fun!
