Big Island small bike rental?

Question for our lucky friends on the Big Island:

Just got back from a wonderful vacation on Maui and Hawai'i. Problem: the Harley dealer in Kona only had big bruiser touring bikes for rent. My wife is rather petite, rides a small 650cc thumper (Suzuki Savage), and just couldn't handle their offerings. She probably would have been OK with an 883 Sportster, but they didn't have one for rent. She absolutely will NOT ride pillion -- not a reflection on my riding skills so much as an "I Am Woman, Hear Me Roar" sort of thing.

So we spent 6 days exploring the Big Island in a 4-cylinder Dodge Avenger, saying "I wish I had my bike right now!" about every eight minutes. Rt. 250 through the "up country" will haunt my motorcycle dreams for a long time, as will that scenic route near Hilo.

We both want to go back in a year or two or three ... what options would we have besides the Kona Harley Dealer? Are there other dealers/options we don't know about or advertise on the intertubes?

Won't help you now, but in lieu of available MC's, a Jeep Wrangler soft-top beats an Avenger every time, in every way, in Hawaii.
