2002 SUZUKI SPORT LINE

Suzuki sport bikes have a long tradition of combining sporting performance with great value. Whether it be a Katana or the hugely successful SV650 series, Suzuki sport bikes are sure to make you happy no matter what kind of bike you're looking for, or what kind of budget your working with. The Katana utilizes sport bike responsiveness, great rider comfort and incredible value. The Katana provides the perfect all-around tool for a weekday commute or a weekend getaway in the canyons. If a V-twin is what you're after the SV650 and SV650S provide the same level of comfort and versatility in a compact and sporty V-twin package. All of our street 90-degree V-twin motorcycles offer a great value with the throaty sound and feel of a V-twin powered machine.

UPDATED MODEL: SV650

The SV650 is back and better than ever for 2002, now featuring preload adjustable front forks for improved suspension performance. The SV650 continues to provide the visceral appeal of a 90-degree V-twin combined with a lightweight aluminum frame and comfortable ergonomics for a wide range of riders.

The 90-degree 650cc V-twin powerplant features dual overhead camshafts with 4 valves per cylinder, liquid cooling, and a lightweight chain-type cam drive system. Strong low-to-mid RPM power was the goal for the SV650, and the 90-degree V-twin has been equipped with 39 mm downdraft carburetors and a beautiful stainless steel 2-into-1 exhaust system for just that reason.

The lightweight truss-style aluminum frame and square tube aluminum swingarm provide a strong and rigid frame for the SV650 while new 41 mm forks with adjustable preload settings, adjustable rear shock absorber, dual disc brakes, and wide radial tires mounted on cast aluminum wheels combine to create a lightweight and nimble handling machine. The SV650 is a versatile machine that can make any ride fun.
