Triumph Tiger

Uprated last year with the new generation 995cc 955cc engine, the Tiger remains a commanding proposition for both dominating urban traffic or devouring huge distance in total comfort. Designed for tarmac rather than an off-road environment, the Tiger’s long travel suspension can soak up the worst of the most demanding terrain.

With 104bhp on tap from the gutsy 995cc 955cc three-cylinder powerplant, the Tiger’s versatile chassis, long haul ergonomics (the seat can be adjusted to suit individual riders), captivating performance and rugged good looks keep it right at the top of the inter-continental trail bike tree. No other bike in the class produces as much power and few others can boast as striking looks as the Tiger. The Tiger engine produces a peak torque figure of 97N.m (72ft.lb) at 6200rpm, allowing the rider to use this prodigious pulling power to make even the longest trips feel relaxed and unhurried.

As well as its robust chassis and powerful twin front disc brakes and single rear, the Tiger boasts penetrating night vision from its powerful twin headlights allowing a rider to maintain high average speeds night or day. And with a frame-mounted fairing keeping wind blast at bay and a vast 24-litre (5.3 gallon) tank to minimise fuel stops, the Tiger makes light of the longest distances. And withWith optional custom-fit hard luggage, loading and unloading after a long trip is easier than ever.
