Sprint ST

A basic design concept that was right first time and a series of thoughtful touches that elevate this machine from the ordinary ensure that the Sprint ST remains one of the most well-rounded and adaptable machines in its class.

The ST's class-leading power and torque figures are only two of the elements that separate it from the herd. The twin-spar aluminium chassis and single-sided swing-arm not only give the machine handling that's responsive and stable, but lend it the distinctive looks that are so much part of the Triumph range.

At its heart lies the 955cc three-cylinder engine that churns out as much character as it does power and torque. The effortless drive from the distinctive power unit is a huge part of the Sprint ST's charm. Coupled with powerful brakes and finely-tuned, adjustable suspension that can accommodate the rigours of two-up trips as well as the different demands of solo sprints, this is a bike that can cope with it all. For thoughtful design, there's nothing to touch the ST.

The two-position exhaust can be either fixed high, for extra cornering clearance, or positioned on its lower setting to allow room for fitted luggage. And the optional hard luggage, designed especially for the ST and fully stability-tested, is available colour co-ordinated off-the-shelf and can be fitted by any Triumph dealer.

And luggage isn't the only accessory available. There are heated grips, a higher screen, an integrated alarm and even a performance exhaust (strictly for off-road use in many markets though).

With three new colour options for 2003, this is a bike that looks better and better as its reputation grows by the year.
