The new entry-level model retains all the outstanding performance, total control and maximum comfort of the Multistrada 1000 DS, yet has the added benefit of being noticeably lighter and lower: a full 13 kg/28 lbs lighter and 20 mm lower. The real news for 2005 is the arrival of the Multistrada and Multistrada Dark, with nothing in their names to identify the engine size but actually powered by the latest 620 cc engines.
