2008 Triumph Speedmaster

A standout middleweight cruiser.

With its dark, brooding lines and a pared-down hot-rod essence, the Speedmaster is a standout middleweight cruiser from every angle. Punchy 865cc engine, mean looks and souped-up chassis - the Speedmaster is the very essence of an old-school street-rod, packing performance and style into one very individual motorcycle.

The Cruiser Range - Performance and looks – no compromise. Triumph cruisers deliver performance with a balance that revels in every sweeping curve. Powered by torquey twin and triple engines that feel and sound like no other. Individual bikes for riders with an individual spirit - covered in chrome and infused with Triumph’s original and authentic styling, they are ready for you to customize with Genuine Triumph Accessories.

FEATURES:

Engine
At the heart of the Speedmaster lies an 865cc, air-cooled, DOHC, parallel twin engine with a 270º firing interval. Peak power of 61bhp arrives at 6800rpm, with maximum torque of 55ft.lbf available at just 3300rpm.

Fuelling
Twin carburetors with throttle position sensor and electric carburetor heaters

Handlebars
Flat drag bars with high risers deliver a more aggressive riding position.

Fuel Tank
The Speedmaster’s new seamless, teardrop-shaped tank gives larger capacity and looks great with its chromed badges and hand painted coach lines.

Brakes
Twin 310mm front discs – gripped by twin-piston calipers lets you haul the Speedmaster up as hard as you want.

Seat
The Speedmaster gunslinger seat supports the rider ready to launch at the horizon.
