The peppy 49cc reed-valve 2-stroke engine fires up effortlessly at the push of a button, and fully automatic transmission makes for “gas it and go” operation, so you can just enjoy the ride. There’s plenty of room for two on the comfortable seat, and a large storage compartment under the seat lets you stash your helmet or other small packages. A catalyzer in the exhaust reduces emissions, while wide aggressive tires, front disc brake and rear carrier complete the package. 49cc, air-cooled with fan assist, reed-valve, 2-stroke powerplant produces lots of peppy power while still offering excellent fuel economy.

Lightweight crankshaft means less weight for faster throttle response.

V-belt constantly variable transmission… just gas it and go… and it is that simple.

Autolube Oil Injection System automatically mixes oil and gas with no mess. It provides the precise amount of oil required by the engine.

Fan-cooling keeps engine cool even on hot days or when stuck in stop-and-go traffic.

Fan- cooling also extends engine life.

CD ignition provides a strong spark for quick, sure starts. This is a no maintenance ignition system.

Electric starting with kickstarter backup means no-hassle starting… just push the button. In the event of a low battery, there is also a manual kick starter.

Teikei 14mm carburetor is miserly on fuel yet still provides crisp throttle response.

Handlebar-mounted choke lever is conveniently located and easy to use.

Catalyzer in the muffler reduces harmful emissions.

Rugged step-through under bone frame design means easy getting on and off plus excellent durability.

Wide floorboards and fenders enhance rider comfort and provide good splash and wind protection.

Trailing axle, telescopic front fork with 65mm (2.6″) of wheel travel smoothly soaks up what the road throws the rider’s way.

Single shock rear suspension with 60mm (2.4″) of wheel travel ensures a good ride quality in either solo or two-up mode.

Lightweight yet durable 5-spoke mag wheels fitted with wide, aggressive tires serve up heaps of grip and help create the BW’s unmistakably fun look.

180mm hydraulic front disc brake provides serious stopping power.
