2004 Fazer 600s, July 2003

These are the first pictures of Yamaha’s new Fazer 600s. The spy pictures were taken close to Yamaha Europe’s Amsterdam base and show both faired and unfaired versions.

Both bikes have new frames and are expected to be powered by a de-tuned version of the engine from the R6.

Sorry, that is all that is known right now about the new Yamaha Fazer 600s.

2005 Update:

We ofcourse now know this was indeed the 2004+ Yamaha FZ6 and they were powered by a re-tuned Yamaha R6 engine for low and mid range power.
