· The Moto2™ race of the 2026 Grand Prix of the United States, which was red-flagged at the start due to an incident and subsequently run over a distance of 10 laps, was won by Senna Agius (Kalex) ahead of Celestino Vietti and Izan Guevara, both riding Boscoscuro machines. All riders used soft SC1 tyres at the front and supersoft SCX at the rear. Spaniard David Alonso (Kalex) set the fastest race lap in 2:06.456, establishing a new record and improving by more than 1.7 seconds on the previous benchmark set by Alonso López in 2024 (2:08.210). · To complete the 14-lap Moto3™ race, all riders opted for soft SC1 tyres at the rear, while at the front 17 out of 25 chose the medium SC2, with the remainder selecting the soft SC1. Guido Pini (Honda) claimed his first Moto3™ victory, starting from fifth on the grid after a close battle with Máximo Quiles (KTM), who finished second, and pole-sitter Álvaro Carpe (KTM), who took third. All podium finishers used the medium SC2 front tyre, and the winner also set a new race lap record of 2:13.417, improving by half a second on the time recorded by Matteo Bertelle in 2025 (2:13.939). This year’s race, completed in 31’20.849, was three seconds quicker than the 2025 edition (31’23.456). · The races were held with air temperatures of around 25°C and track temperatures above 40°C in both classes, in line with those recorded during Friday afternoon practice.
