Don't worry about the future of the bike you want, worry about the past, the one that tells you whether or not it's reliable. 500s are basically bulletproof. And trust me they'll handle you with no problem. I've been over 100 on the least powerful 500 out there and I'm about 50 lbs heavier than you ...

I honestly ...

Yeah, comfort is a big deal, for me anyways. And what do you think about the honda cbr600rr as a second bike ,after either the ninja 500r, the gs500f,the sv650s or the ninja 650r?

Thanks a lot man. I find the sv650 is better ''looking'' than the ninja 650. so I think i will go with the sv650. Im a little reluctant to spend so much money on my first bike though, I will start looking through auto trader to get an idea of what a used one would cost. I love how I went from '' Im ...

What do you reckon the top speed for the ninja 650r an the sv650's are? Acceleration? I dont really want to be paying 6 and a half grand for a first bike,I do like both of them better than my previous two considerations. Is one better than the other, first bike wise?

I havent sat on any bikes, but Im not going to be able to even ride one ( legally :P ) for about at least another year.

the hyosungs looks expensive compared to my other options, I know in most cases you get what you py for, but i dont wanna drop 6 grand on my first bike.
