Glad to know that I;m not the only one to hear the voices. However, its hard to tell the quiet 'good' voice from the 'get you in trouble' voice, since......well....they are both screaming in terror

I used Febreeze on my helmet liner but it took too long to dry. Another thing I did was wash my hair before every ride and my helmet began smelling like shampoo. Hopefully those helmet fresheners will kill bacteria and dry quickly. My helmet started smelling like a Strawberry Shortcake for some str...

looking for your thoughts

I'm sure that this has been answered somewhere else on this site, however I couldn't find the answer. How does one go about removing small spots of rust for the surface of mufflers? Any and all thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks

Amen! The way I look at life is that I can only be responsable for my actions. I do everything that I can do avoid putting myself into a situation that could result with me in pain....or worse. But life tends to throw you curve balls every now and then.....like the 16 year old kid in his new BMW 3 s...

Troubleshooting a hose

On my way home from work tonight, everytime i would roll off the throttle, I could hear and feel a vibration like something was catching on the front part of the chain. When I got home I noticed a small, thin hose hanging loose. I can tell that it is still connected on the handlebar end, but with it...

It just seems that there are some rather crooked motorcycle dealers down here in S. Florida. I took my bike in for its first service (oil change, cylinder ailnment, and general inspection) which ended up costing me $300! As I was leaving, the service rep pointed out to me that the chain handler plat...

First actual ride

I got to go on my first actual ride today that wasn't around the neighborhood or to the dealer . I always hear people talking about riding up to Lake Okeechobee and what a great ride it is. So after getting the information and the routes that I needed to take, I hopped on my bike and took off. Accor...

As far as Fl. laws go, you are required to take the BRC course in order to get the endorsement on your licence. As far as I know, and this could just be urban myth, but from what I've heard from other riders in the area, there is mandatory impoundment of the bike for any rider who is caught without ...

dumb o-ring newbee question

When I got back from taking my bike for a few laps around my apartment complex today I noticed a screw sticking out of my back tire. Can bike tires be repaired like normal car tires, or do I need to get a brand new tire put on the bike?
Thanks
