after some head scratching, and finding a comfortable way to sit on my bike,I think I have a solution. the seat: I guess I have to have a seat made that doesn't slope down like the original NH seat,I want one that is more like the old UJM seats that is straight across. Handle bars: I need to extend t...

I have been having the same feelings about my bike, when I first got it,it was comfortable to ride, but since then my knees can't handle the angle they have to be at to ride,so I missed this whole season.

Stalled in Newbieville

I haven't been around in a while,I hope everyone is doing well. I started riding 3 years ago, took the BRC,and bought a Nighthawk 750,was having a good time, then I had knee surgery,2nd season riding after surgery was extremely painful, the NH forces me to bend my knee so my leg is almost a V as oppose...

I've been away for a while, life has taken most of my time, started my Honda today and I am itching to ride. with only 600 miles under my newby belt I am going to do some practice at the local school after work, turns and such just to knock the rust off. last year more medical problems (knee) and coach...

oh! the pain!

I've gotten 2 seasons under my belt, with only about 300 miles for each, the first I was laid up and now this past season I can only ride for about an hour before my bad knee starts screaming from being bent up tight to the gas tank.(93 Nighthawk 750). I tried sitting on some cruiser style bikes and...

rookie death grip

I have been making a concerted effort to not strangle my handle bars, and I think I have loosened my grip, but, my hands still get numb while I'm riding, is this common?is there something I can do about it?

thanks

I agree also with the suszuki, you may have to fix some stuff but you'll also get a good education on how bikes work, I know I have. I believe in understanding my machines, not being a joe pro mechanic, just understanding them, the tank bone's connected to the carb bone........ ect. I bought a clyme...

Unfortunatley Ivan, you have too weave cones at a slow speed to get your license,
so ,practice and try again dude, I only passed by 1 point so we aren't too far apart.
ain't no crime in failing, not trying again thats a crime

I wouldn't worry about failing the test, just take it again.
people make mistakes, thats why the put earsers on pencils.

there is no shame in not succeeding the first time you try something.

I agree with the seafoam. when I bought my bike it had been sitting for years, put gas in it changed the battery and it started right up,I've never had a problem. But I might just be lucky there. Ethanol at a 90-10 ratio is really barely worth doing, they have to add a chemical to it so that the gas a...

It's against the law to pump your own in NJ but we all do it,and I've never seen anyone let someone fill up thier bike for them. other things illegal in NJ if a bear is in your house and you shoot it you go to jail lawn darts riding a dirt bike through the woods riding a Mt bike through the woods si...

WTF?

you can't get a build up of ethanol in your gas tank! it's all 10% in NJ so 90% of it is gasoline. if everything you put in the tank is 90/10 then the ratio won't change. unless you start trying to run on everclear you won't have a problem. worrying about miniscule stuff like this is ridiculous, cha...
