How can I test it? Can I use a multimeter to test if it's good or not? If so, what am I looking for?

Bizarre tachometer/electrical issues

I have some electrical issues with my bike but I'm not sure if this is related or not. The problem is my tachometer will almost never reset itself to 0. When you turn the ignition on, it's supposed to do a self test go from 0 rpm to redline and back but instead it does weird back and forth motions a...

Downshifting to 5th helps a little but it doesn't give me much more power and the engine is screaming at that point... doesn't sound too good but I guess it's ok?

I just want to take the next step up to a bigger bike, partly for the fun factor as well. How noticeable of a jump is a 500cc bike?

Advice for second bike

My apologies in advance... I know these threads pop up all the time. So I'm just starting my second season of riding. Last year I commuted every day back and forth to work on my ninja 250 in big city traffic (Toronto) so I feel like I've gotten pretty used to riding by now. I'm no expert by any mean...

This even fixed my clutch lever issue! I'm not sure why but I think the clutch was just submerged in gas...

Come to think of it, I probably did leave it in the ON position :(. How do I drain it? Just like a normal oil change or is there more to it?

So I found out what it's leaking and it's oil. I don't understand why though. I changed the oil just before I put it away but now when I look at the oil level, it's way over what it should be?! It wasn't when I put it away. Could having too much oil in there cause it to somehow "overflow"?...

If it's old gas, what should I do? Just start the bike and leave it running till it's all out?

Can't coolant be yellow as well? Either way, it didn't really seem like oil. The consistency was like water, very thin. If it was oil, what could've happened? Because it was literally gushing out.. not like a small drip or anything.
