I liked them both alot. I thought the Truimph had a little more of a "sporty" feel and handling about it. It felt like it was a little quicker out of the hole and a little lighter on its feet. But the SV isn't bad by any means and is one of the better bikes I have ridden. If I had to choose one ...

SV650 vs Street Triple 675

I am interested in getting one of these bikes. I have looked and test ridden both of them. I like the way both of them felt and the prices are comparable. Which one would be a better buy, as far as reliability and the ease/price of maintenance?

New Design of the Ninja 250

I recently saw that Kawasaki had finally changed the deisgn of their 250. I used to own a '99 model and it was one of the best bikes that I have ridden. Even more than the CBR600 I currently own. I am just curious if anyone else has ridden on the new 250. What are your thoughts? How does it compare ...

Kawasaki ZR-7S Opinions

I am considering buying a 2003 Kawasaki ZR-7S. It has about 19K miles and has a price tag of 3900. It is along the lines of the bike I want(Middle Weight Naked Sport type). I am wondering if this bike has a good ride and is comfortable for longer trips(100+ miles) and if the price tag and mileage ...

I checked out a couple of loan places and I came across the same problem with each one. They require that I buy the bike from a dealership. The one I have had my eye on is from a private seller. Is there any financial organization that will give me a loan to buy from a private party?

Thanks for the input. I read up on the Yamaha website about their "good" offer. It didn't sound to appetizing once I read the fine print. I'll probably go through my bank so I can have the freedom of buying outside of a dealership.
Thanks again.

Dealer Financing vs. Bank Loan

I am looking to buy a new bike(new to me at least) in the next month or so. Is it better to finance the bike through a dealership or take out a loan from the bank? I know that usually a dealer requires full coverage for a finainced bike, but does a bank as well? I would much rather pay for it out ...

Good rides in Texas?

I recently moved from Tampa, FL to Fort Worth, TX. I have been trying to find good rides around the area. I would love to find some back roads through the hill country or a good ride over to a state park to do some hiking once there. Does anyone know any places around the area that would be fun?

Thanks for the tip. I am going to ride a friends CBR 600 and see how it feels before I make a decision.

When to upgrade.

I began riding on a '99 Ninja 250. It has been a little over a year since I first began riding. I am beginning to feel that my bike is a too small for me. I have been told that jumping into a bigger bike(I am looking at a 600) too soon or off the bat can be dangerous. I am wanting to know if it is ...
