Repair manuals

I have looked all over for repair manuals for a 2007 kawasaki vulcan 2000 lt and a 2007 - 2008 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe, and have had no luck so far. I am not asking anyone to do anything illigal, I just need some idea of where to get these. I am willing to pay for the download from a legit sit...

I just bought and had my husband instal a 139 decible air horn today. Man is that sucker loud! My husband and I went for a ride so he could get better perspective on the sound. Well the first time I hit the horn it was so loud it scared the crap out of him. He was laughing so hard when we stopped at...

Winter Riding?

I live in Florida so we can ride all year without snow etc. But I was curious do any of you ride when it has snowed? If you do, when do you put your bikes away for the winter, or do you?

Need to know if anyone has tried these.......

Has anyone ever tried these light bulbs on their bikes? PIAA SUPER PLASMA GTX BULBS H-4 60/55W = 135/125W Anti-Vibration or PIAA Extreme White Bulbs I thought they look like ok bulbs, but want to know if anyone has tried them. I know they cost a lot, but I want them for better lighting. I am not loo...

:wtf: I picked up two last year when they came out which I've referenced in numerous posts. They have a much better heat distribution than my Widder or Gerbing. I think it's the best bang for your buck for heated gear. However, either intentionally or unintentionally you are stating the impossible....

Ya dont DRIVE a bike and for that reason I will not enter your silly poll. I once saw a squirrel satisfy a camel. . If you didn't want to enter it don't respond either. Sorry if this poll doesn't meet some peoples standards of what they want it to be. If you feel that way make your own poll. Otherw...

I wouldn't go without mine on my Royal Star. It's adjustable, and I love it. My back has less pain now on long rides. Hubby has one on both f his bikes due to back strain. He now has zero problems with back and riding.

I have a 900 cc and a 1300 cc and I honestly can say my 900 is just as good as my 1300 in different situations. I feel a little difference, but not enough to be dissatisfied in my 900. I had a Suzuki 800 and I didn't like it. Not because I went down from the 900 but because it was too revvy, and had...

Age and type of bike you drive

I was just thinking. For the most part the cruiser riders I see are older and the sports bike riders are younger. Now sometimes I see the opposite, but not very often. I would like to know how old you are and what type of bike you drive. Thanks, this is just to satisfy my own curiosity. I am 32 and ...

I use Dunlop 404's, and still have the original set on my 900. I have almost 14000 miles so far. Hubby says it has a lot to do with how I corner, and ride. I tend to agree. His tires go real fast, but they would last longer if he would stop running over glass, bolts, and screws. LOL!

I had a long conversation with my son last night after changing all his bandages. I asked him if he would ride again, and he said yes. He told me it was the fear of what had just happened that made him tell us he was done riding. He said that he was scared though, because he didn't want that to happ...

I ride in Florida, and there are a lot of women riders. Every where you go there they are. I as a female rider have been on both sides of the bike. A rider and passenger. Hate being a passenger though. Hubby likes me being his riding buddy. He says it keeps him legal. (I'm very ana about keeping eve...

My son was in a motorcycle accident today

My 17 year old son was in an accident today. He was on his way home from Ross (store) on his 1982 Yamaha 550. He was coming around some s corners, he was going about 42 to 45 in a 35 mph zone (according to him, the cops and the witnesses) and hit a dirt patch. His bike slid and stood up straight. He...
