Suzuki specifies exactly how much to tighten with a wrench in the owner's manual (quite different than others, but proper procedure).

I use a oil filter cap wrench, with a 3/8 swivel connected to a extension and then the ratchet.

Be very careful that you remove the old gasket before installing the new filter..It likes to stick on the block and cause problems for the new filter!!!

I have a 06 C50 T and I am about 5'6" and 225 pounds. It's my first bike (actually second but the first one was a paperwork mess). The bike is definitely good for a strong first year rider. It's heavy, has vibration issues at highway speeds, and is usually mistaken for a HD. I love it!!! The fu...

Definitely go the snap-on for core stuff and look for used!! I used to wrench some 14 years or so ago, and it was expensive then. I would go to the flea markets, used tool shops, and buy from others if they were selling. Craftsman are ok, good enough for general wrenching around the house, but not g...

I haven't tried this, but it may help you..Take some adhesive backed foam weatherstripping and outline your glasses. The expensive sunglasses have foam around them, so why not tr...

Stupid mistake--Put bike in Neutral before starting

Here is something to think about. Regardless of pulling the clutch in, put the bike in neutral if it has been sitting for a while before starting. I pulled the clutch on my little ninja 250 (been riding my 06 C50T), hit the start button, and jumped about 2 feet forward. So now I will always put my b...
