Re: THIS WEEK #328: 2018 Husqvarna TC50 - VOTE TODAY
I didn't ride dirt bikes as a kid, so I honestly have no frame of reference for how cool this bike is, but you get an awesome vote as a parent if you get your kid one of these.

If you've got one of these things, more power to you! Different strokes and all that. But I have to admit, I do wonder what is the point at which a motorcycle gets so big as to be pointless. If you want touch screens, that much wind protection, infotainment, premium audio, armrests, lots of luggage,...

I voted cool, because it isn't uncool. Unless you're a trackday freak though, I find sportbikes increasingly irrelevant on the road.

Re: THIS WEEK: 2018 Suzuki V-Strom 1000XT - VOTE NOW
I've always liked both the mid and full size V Stroms, and it's nice that the Strom is going to be available with tougher wheels. Part of the Strom's appeal though is how (relatively) uncomplicated it is, and that also makes it relatively affordable. Putting all sorts of electronic doodads on it dil...

Re: THIS WEEK: 2017 Ural Ambassador - VOTE NOW
It's still just a color and trim variation, but I find it hard not to vote awesome on a Ural. Just look at the thing. It's such a conversation starter.

Re: THIS WEEK: 2017 Moto Guzzi MGX-21 Flying Fortress - VOTE NOW
I think Guzzis in general are awesome, and I like this platform, especially the Audace. Pretty much every bike in the Guzzi lineup looks effortlessly elegant, but Ceemes is right; this bagger is trying way too hard. Everything is overstyled; that 60's batmobile fairing, the Victory Vision-esque rear...

Re: This Week: 2017 BMW VISION NEXT 100 - VOTE NOW
Agree. I don't see the point in voting for concept bikes. It's the same as voting for fictional bikes in sci fi movies; they don't exist, they don't need to be able to work. Someone can come up with a concept bike that's powered by the carbon dioxide I exhale or my own body heat. I can say yay, cool...

Re: Discuss: Your pet peeves while riding?
To be honest, people in cars don't tick me off because my expectations are low anyway. I get ticked off more by other motorcyclists, because you kinda assume they'd know better, we're going through similar amounts of risk, we're in this together, etc. I especially get annoyed when riding in a group ...

Re: Do you decorate your bike?
Hmmm, I've put stickers on my panniers and topbox, but I'm iffy about adding nonfunctional stuff on the bike itself.

Re: This Week: 2017 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra - VOTE NOW
IMHO, there's just something so uncool about this trike. There's a somewhat sad air of "I wish I could ride a two wheeler, but I can't". Strangely enough, I don't feel that way about hacks. Gummiente has already noted how they're superior to trikes (and to regular motorcycles, in some ways...
