Speed limits posted are not specific to any type of car, thus they are meant to be more generalized. Obviously a larger, heavier vehicle will not be able to handle the same speeds on a back road that a more nimble smaller vehicle would which is why dump trucks and tractor-trailers need to drive ...

Let me clarify something. Speeders don't kill anyone. Speeding doesn't kill anyone. People who make MISTAKES or do stupid things cause accidents and kill people. 99.99% of the time people exceed the speed limit and nothing ever happens. How do I know? I drive every day and people go flying by me ...

I have the 650 custom and I've got about 2500 miles on it so far. It's a nice bike, but not very powerful. Yes, it can do 70 on the interstate but you'll really be buzzing the engine as it is geared lower than it should be IMO. For 55mph highway travel it does great. If I ever get another bike I'm ...

I got burned on both arms real bad when I first got my bike. I did notice something though. My skin didn't actually blister from the burn, it just so happens that the layer of skin that burned died and when you sweat underneath it, it has nowhere to go except to form sweat pockets under the dead ...

east PA week of the 4th

I have off all week due to yearly shutdown and I want to ride somewhere but I'm tired of going alone all the time. If anyone else has some free time let me know, I'll more than likely be super bored and I can always look for an excuse to spend a day cruising.

I rode without a shirt today because I had just finished shoveling about 4 wheel barrows of dirt and I thought, hey, I'll cool off but I didn't. I took a shirt along so I could go and get ice cream :D so I wore it on the way back and I was actually cooler with the shirt on. I realize a shirt is far ...

I ride a brand new 2007 650 Custom. My only real complaint is that it could use a higher (lower numerically) gear ratio in 5th to lower cruising rpm's at 55 and up. It sounds great when the engine grunts and it is very comfy. I could have used a larger engined bike but I picked this one because the ...

Cost me $230 dollars for 1st service on my 650 custom. I guess it all depends on where you get the bike.
