I read the manual but adjusting the float heights seems a little confusing to me.

Black means it's running rich. Plugs should generally be a chocolatey brown in color.

Without seeing diagrams and the actual locations of hoses, etc, it would be hard for me to say whether this is normal or not. And why it would light on fire it beyond me... Especially if it's to the air box and a ...

On last plee for help!
Ill take the bike into the shop tomorrow. Im going to check the sparkplugs just tonight, jsut in case, even though they are new.
If no other ideas, thanks for everything guys. At least i know how to take apart carburetors now.

8:00 PM leave the house
8:00 to 8:20 PM no problems at all
8:20 - 8:23 PM Major problems, RPMS are very jumpy, losing power, hard to control throttle
8:24 PM Open up gas tank for 25 seconds

I didnt take out my spark plugs. I dont know whats up with the hose thing. Its strange the way the hoses go all over the place, some just stop left open, others conect to things i wouldnt think they would conect to. The bike hasnt really changed the way it was running since i hooked everything back ...

I tried running my motorcycle on all three settings. As it started to die i changed it, then changed it again nothing remedied the problems. I didnt check the spark plug but they are only a few hundred miles old.

Strange thing that happened was some gas leaked when i started it. I looked down and ...
