When I was going through the BRC, our instructor told us that there is 1 or 2 people that tahe the course EVERY 2 YEARS. according to him, they just love riding, but don't want to actually buy a bike for themselves (I still find this a bit strange) Pay the $ just to ride for 7 - 10 hr every few ...

Don't know if this will help. But I wear a pair of RayBan sunglasses I got from LensCrafter, with my perscription lens.. Of course I got them "awhile ago" but if memory serves me right, I think they ran right around $150 - $200 area..

In my personal opinion. A full face helmet is a necessity.

During our training (my wife & I took the MSF calss togather) we had thought about getting half helmets, but we seriously oubted we'd ever use them again.

CONGRATS to the BOTH of you...

Instead oftaking the biks in for service on Friday, Why not surprise your father (again), and have them serviced during the week? That way when he gets home on Friday, both bikes will be fully serviced adn ready for the next father/son trip..??

I guess about the best way to describe my first time is about the same as my wife describes hers..

Almost like flying while still on the ground..

BTW in our MSF course, our instructor mentioned that the course is "fast-paced", then followed it up by saying that in the 24 hr scheduled class time ...

SUPERSTITIONS

After completing our MSF course, my wife & I saw a gremlin bell on a classmates bike. We started talking and were wondering if there are any other superstitions held by fellow riders.

I did some on-line searches and found a few things;

1. Any bike with the color green?? (I bet a few Ninja riders ...

Here in North Carolina, The MSF course runs right around $110. That is with the MSF supplying almost everything at one of the community colleges around the state. I checked out the same course offered thru the Harley dealerships in the srea, and it runs closer to the $320 area. So I really can't ...
