1980 Yamaha 400xs special with straight pipes?
ok here is the deal i just got the yamaha and one of the mufflers fell off when i was riding and it had a short straight pipe after the muffler fell off, so i thought the sound was really good with the straight pipe so i had the muffler shop weld the rest of a straight pipe on it to both sides. ok so here is the deal-- with everyones help on the idle problem it had i fixed it, now more problems. ok to start off, it starts fine if i put the choke on, but if i leave the choke on any amount of time after it starts it just revs up really high (is that normal for 2 strokes when using a choke?) ...
