I have 2 solutions to offer you.

1. Put a ad in the local paper that you will remove any unwanted shed for free if you can keep it.

Thats what I did.

2. You can store it in my shed. Im in the Allentown area.

:)

Wet Black spark plug?

Only one of my spark plugs is coated in a wet black liquid. Im guessing unburnt fuell because the other spark plug looks perfect. What am I looking at guys? A spark problem or worse? Then engine was running but rough a few nights ago. The Clymer says to simply switch to a hotter plug. 76' Honda CB50...

PO cut my pipes, back pressure issue? Bent valve risk?

I recently started my 76 CB500T for the first time in years and Im getting a real nasty Idle. I figured a carb clening would do it but no luck. As you can tell from the clip its a werid idle. I wasn't touching the throttle that was all the bike reving itself. One of cylinders is fine, the left side ...

Shes alive! Sound clip! And a few Honda CB500T Idle question

After buying a coil from the junkyard for $7 and staring at it I noticed something. My coil was wired backwards. The PO had tried to clean the bullet connects but had connected them back together completely wrong. All I had to do was connect yellow to yellow and blue to blue and I had spark on both ...

Stripping/ sanding/ scotch bright/ clear coating a gas tank?

Basically I have a old CB500T that I just want to freshen up alittle. I was planning to use aircraft grade laquer (sp?) thinner, sand paper, scotch bright, and a rattle can clear coat to stop rust. Would that be the proper process of giving my tank a WWII fighter brushed aluminum look? Just wanted t...

Anyone ever hear of Votomoto? Differnt jacket cuts?

Im looking at a company called Votomoto.com. I really like their Urban Cammo Textile Jacket. Only problem is that it comes in three differnt cuts.

Dallas, Colorado, and Phoneix. Whats up with that? Anybody know what would be the best cut for PA riding?

Thanks

Well nothing worked. I charged the battery. Added grounds, tore apart the electronics, and found several balls of tape with random wire splicing. After cleaning all the Bullet connectors I could find I got spark on one of the cylinders. I even tried hot wiring the solenoid and the starter kicked ove...

Dont even get me started on the pin-up/ nose art. I already picked out a White and black scallop paint job for the tank and contacted a local airbrush artist who will put my GF in a pose on the tank for $60. Im seriously considering a HJC Nose art helmet but I cant get over what people are going to ...

Thanks. Ill email you when I finally do figure out what is up with my electronics. The more I look over my bike, the more I find wrong with it. The previous owner just walked around the bike and clipped random wires for god knows what reason. IE: Horn, Coils, headlight, blinkers, 7 grounds, kill swi...

Just thought you should know that you sir, are the sole reason which I decided to get back into bikes after being rear ended 2 years ago. For that, I thank you. I stumbled across this blog a year ago and fell in love with your work. I have since dragged the GF on a 4 hour round trip to pick up a 76 ...

Not getting power at fuse block. 76 CB500T

Im only getting power at the main 15A fuse and then at the 7A head fuse when the key is turned. What is going on here? What could be bad between the batt and the 3 inches to the fuse block? The only lights that work on the bike are the brake light and the tach light. The neutral light did work but d...

That new cafe smell.

I just wanted to introduce myself officially. My name is Aaron and I picked up a 76 Honda CB500T with 8,645 miles on her 3 days ago. Paid $400 for the bike, a crate of parts, and a sears bike lift. I already replaced the shocks, cleaned the carbs, and chopped up the batt box to fit some K&N cones. C...
