ah ok, i was trying to see if it was worth buying a cheaper 550 fixer, or i could check out another nighthawk 450 '84. Running and with regular maintenance just done. but its 300 bucks more. Seems like the running one would be a better choice since it now sounds like it could come out to be more has...

The last I heard it ran was the beginning of May. I know the idleing needed to be adjusted some at the time. Thats what he just said to me in the email. The battery died shortly after and he just didnt have time to tinker with it while going to school fulltime and working fulltime... Sounds good bu...

But its around 45mins away but im curious if i could like take a friends battery and check if it runs (or would that even work?) But hes always busy with school/work so he se...

Thinking of a fixer upper. 550sc nighthawk

Just curious of how much roughly would you think it would cost to fix up this nighthawk. its a 83 with 11k miles. Heres a list of things, i only plan on fixing it to make it run then imma just ride it no matter what it looks like!! - No battery - Headlight broken - rear turn signals broken - clutch ...

The ONLY way i would ever use my credit card right now, (student card with no fee's and lower interest) is if i have the cash sitting next to me when i'm making the said purchase. I then go home and go online to my online credit card and i pay off the bill the second it shows up on their system. Onl...

Lolol its not vintage but i didnt know what to call it so i said vintage. And the price is 1500 but negotiable. He is a really nice guy and is going to let me come check it out and give it a little ride to see its quirks. Does anyone know if this particular 600R model has been notorious for having l...

Input on a Vintage purchase!

Hey i was checking out a local forum of sportbike guys and there was a old '87 Kawasaki Ninja 600R (zx600a) and the guy took it from being in storage from '91 to now and it wasnt running. So he restored the full bike and it runs great, has amazing compression across the cylinders so the motors fine!...

I thought about financing a bike and well just sitting down and doing numbers just makes it seem so stupid. A motorcycle is probably the easier thing to buy in cash as most times it not a ton of money like a car purchase. I personally have chose to put my money into a ING Direct acct that has a high...
