Surprisingly my Ninja 250 hasn't had a speed wobble yet. I've had it up to about 95 (so far :P) and it didn't wobble. It's just that smooth. Now my 650 Dual sport had BADDD speed wobbles. It would do it just about anytime I gunned it over 40mph.. But it was also on street/trail tires

My DR did that, but i think it's headlight was focused a little too high

Just try harder to check the oil more often than what you did with the DR650 and it should hold up well.

1200cc would be wayyyy to much bike, not just power, but the weight of a 1200cc cruiser. It will be extremley heavey from a noobys perspective. My dad's got an 1800cc VTX, and i dont see how he holds it up!

Start out on a 650cc cruiser, then once shes use to that step it up.

I guess i cant say anything about this, Tennessee has a Helmet law and we HAVE to wear them. But when i went down for the first time a year ago, i was slammed right on my side, and my helmet wasnt even scratched. So your body tries its hardest to keep your head up. I'd only not wear a helmet if i wa...

When I first got my DR650 i would take on gravel roads and would slide all over the place, but the more i road the faster i would go. And now i dont worry about sand and gravel, on my other bike I almost couldn't go over gravel or sand, etc etc without the back end sliding out, but now i guess im us...

Little trail rides on DR650

I've had this DR for 3 months now, and I LOVE IT!! Theres a gravel trail near a lake where i live, so i decided to take the DR on it. after about 2 miles the gravel trail ends and it a big dirt trail begins, which is Dual Sport heaven. The only question i have is theres a sign right before you go on...

the GS has more up-right seating posistion with the handlebars are higher. The 500R Would be more of a Sporty-like posistion as the handlebars are lower almost like clip-ons. Look at NWtrtle's avatar. So if you want a sporty-like bike you might just like the Ninja. But you still deffinatley need to ...

First off.. Theres no F*ing way a CB125 gets 100mpg..its from 1978 ..old technology. i have a kawasaki eliminator 125..single cylinder..and it only gets 80MPG..

In 5th gear it'll do 65 but the throttle will be pinned..
