Thanks for all of the suggestions. I just did the old 4 barrel trick and tapped the carb with a screwdriver, added some cleaner and took a blast up I-95. It seems to be running somewhat better. I'll keep you posted it the thing blows up or something.

All of the plugs are fresh out of the box and have been gapped according to the Suzuki manual. I may try swaping the plug wire from a known good plug.

Ted - Could be a float problem. Why would one float go bad?

Nibblet - I just replaced all of the plugs. I am getting spark on #2 but it looks sort of weak to me. Bad plug wire?

Show some responsibility and take a rider safety course. The community colleges here offer a three day course (they even supply the bikes) which qualifys as the road portion of you motorcycle license endorsement.

I have an '81 Suzuki GS850L with 16k on the clock. I had a total rebuild on the carbs last summer (let it sit for 15 years in the garage) and it has been running great until about two weeks ago.
