I was thinking of changing oil myself but realized that I would need a torque wrench to take the filter off and put the new one on. So, spending money on the wrench, filter, oil and looking for place to dispose the old oil - does not seem like a lot of fun, at least to me.

That's probably a CS series, I have a CL. Those are in a low to mid 100s. They are a bit more comfortable.

I'm fine with riding a cruiser and wearing a helmet with a design. Next one I get will be solid though - it's more visible and doesn't blend in as much as the one with a design on it. Any pattern is not that different from a camouflage, really... But that has nothing to do with ridding a cruiser of ...
