Re: Apathy is such a sweet goddess that I need do nothing...

Hey, there, Rhadam! Sounds like it was an adventure!

So, what is your dream bike now?

Re: The Grand Vista of Bards

Wow, Gina, no moss has grown under your wheels in the past year, has it? I have Ride Like a Pro , also, and have found it really helpful with slow riding. Not so much with faster riding, though. I want to work on that. How's the women's riding group coming? I just joined a new chapter of Women On Wh...

Re: spray painting a helmet?

This video speaks to the issue, among other things. It's a little long, but worth it, IMHO.

Re: Riding blind - a geezer's tale

There are eye drops that I got from my eye doctor that help with this. But you may just need glasses. I had lasix surgery, but I found that a new prescription for glasses, which I only need at night, works better than the drops for me.

Re: Help please, Ladies training

I have noticed my fellow women have similar responses both to motorycles and power tools. We seem to have a keener understanding of what it means to get hurt. Big, vibrating, noisy machines with the capacity to move fast are scary. So, um, we often hang back a little more until we know more about ho...

Re: Help please, Ladies training

Wow, SApaul, kudos to you for doing this! I am kind of hesitant to say there are big differences in how women learn vs. how men learn. I've done all my MC learning in either a mixed or all-guys-except-me group. Each individual will have different issues, regardless of gender, although gender & cultu...

Jenn, you crack me up! I've missed hearing from you! (It was the toenails comment that got me) Re-post pics of your paint jobs, please, so we can see how well you do it. (You can post toenail pics too, if you want.)

Re: The Riding Game!

Nah! I'm in the picture, my bike is behind all the others (that last front tire is mine) at a supposed BBQ joint, which is the rural Ohio version of an English Pub. That'll have to do! http://i29.tinypic.com/290sjzo.jpg So, next is: I don't care where it is taken, but you and your bike together, so...

3 orangey-red Hondas in a row, each representing a different category of bike. What are the odds?

I think that the common complaint for every bike is about the stock seat, but I've heard more complaints about Beemer seats than any other.

Re: They've become squids...

Yeah, they have become squids. Sorry you lost your riding group. But at least you'll get to be able to ride longer. Visit them at the hospital, the long-term care facility, or the cemetary, when you get a chance.

People are gonna do what they are gonna do. Can't fix that.

Re: Wrider's Scribblings

Glad you're wrenching at least part-time, Wrider! Lee Parks sells elk skin gloves for a very pretty penny--his point being that the hide is exceptionally sturdy, and that those gloves with hard covers do more harm than good. I wonder if other race-track people know of similar gloves, or of stories a...
