Does anyone know of a good motorcycle repair shop in the PG/MOCO areas? I'm a new rider with a 2003 Honda Shadow - 2000 miles. I bought it recently and it sputters on me while I'm riding so I'de like to get it checked out.

Thumper, thanks for the response. Of the bikes I listed, do you know which is the "quietest"? Also wanted to throw in the Buell Blast into the mix. Any thoughts on it? Is it loud like a Harley? Thanks again, I'll be looking further into the Shadow, V-Star and Vulcan in the 500cc range.

I just finished up the beginners rider course at the DMV yesterday and have the certificate to redeem for my bike license. I am now looking to buy a standard used bike, helmet, clothing gear, etc. Any recommendations on any of these topics for a beginner rider would be great. Some other questions......
