As someone who just started riding this summer, I'm still stressing, but I think in a good way now. It keeps me thinking. And alive... "Every stress leaves an indelible scar, and the organism pays for its survival after a stressful situation by becoming a little older." Hans Selye "It...

Well done -- and well said! You've probably seen this rule of the road before, but if not: "Always assume the other guy is trying to kill you, and act accordingly. Think of the stupidest thing another driver could possibly do intentionally. Then imagine they're trying to do that but are on a ce...

This old joke is usually directed up here in Canada to generic American beers -- you know which ones -- and I know that there are good beers in the USA -- so let's apply this to all and any generic beer no matter where they're from: What do generic beers have in common with making love in a canoe? T...

All good advice -- thanks. In case anyone else is considering a rack, here's one I found that someone had fabbed that looks good -- although it does put the weight behind the rear axle. (Am not too keen about the seat though ... )

Carrying stuff on a naked bike

I'd rather not use a backpack to carry stuff like a laptop computer. I'd prefer to keep the load ahead of the real axle, so I'm think of getting a tank pack for my KZ900, but I don't think that the 'puter will fit in a tank pack. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Rod.

The Pat Metheny Group have been around for years and are constantly growing, so there are several themes that have run through their work since the 70's. Definitiely worth a listen.

Good luck to you!
