If the Yamaha is the single cylinder for get it for anyone over 5'6. I have the Vulcan which is fine for people 5'10'' or less. The problem is not the bike power on any of the bikes mentioned but being 6' or more. If you re-post with a description of how you intend to ride the bike most of the time...

Also, when you lug an engine you are dumping tons on fuel into the engine thats not getting burned because there is too much strain on your engine. Not a good idea to do.

A cruiser between 250-500cc

I'm looking for my first bike and would like to have a cruiser, but I've sat on Honda Rebels and other 250cc bikes and it just feels like I'm cramped. I'm 6'5" 170lbs. Is there anything between 250 and 500cc that would work good for a first bike that I could still go for a comfy cruise on? Than...

Thanks Tenku. Thats kinda why I thought it was called the dreaded turn, I just wasn't sure. Now that I think about it, it makes since, a right turn is tighter. Hopefully I'll be able to get it down. New from Central Texas!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to say hey! I'm brand new to motorcycles and am planing to take the MSF course. I'm looking at a Honda Rebel 250 after I finish. This is a great site and love all the great info on it!

I also have another question. I've heard something about the dreaded right hand turn? I was just wondering why it's called that. Is a right hand turn harder to make than a left? Thanks
