yes!!! that's it!!! i don't know why i thought it was a 360, but it STILL blows me away! so, people are removing engine covers, starters, and i get it, i'm all for it. but, people are removing alternators? how does the bike run without an alternator? i've heard of the "constant-loss" style bike, but...

so after a short break, i came back to the seat/tail end, and decided to go with the folded duct steel again, because i love the raw stripped down feel of it. this time though, the object was to go really low profile. http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa36/bigexiter/bike1.jpg then i added an LED ta...

mikunis

well, by better, i mean the mikuni website offers "better performance due to less restricted flow". i'm always looking for more efficient performance. adapting throttle linkages won't be a problem, as i'm not using the original throttle linkages anyway. what i'm hoping for is something simpler, more...

mikuni vm32mm

huh... so, the mikuni vm32mm kit fits my bike. and about 20 other bikes, but the price is slightly different for each bike. what exactly does 32mm refer to? can i assume that with proper tuning, any 32mm carb will work on my bike?

thanks!

what carbs work on a cb360?

hey, i've decided the carbs on a 75 cb360 i just bought are too shot to put any real effort in to rebuilding. does anyone know how i can figure out what carbs will also fit on my bike, preferably carbs that improve performance? thanks!

total change of plans

http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa36/bigexiter/together.jpg so in in effort to find handlebars that fit the theme i'm going with, i browsed though at least 4 different sets of cafe racer style bars, and messed with the idea of clip-ons. as with all of my previous projects, i like a fusion of vin...

the lightest seat pan ever.

today i was poking around in my garage looking for ideas when i discovered some left over tin like they use on ductwork. i chopped it up and drilled some holes and now i have myself a fancy new cafe-style seat pan. it weighs about as much as an empty coffee can. http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa...

friday is a weird day to have off, and i love it. today i sanded the sweet be-jesus out of my fork tubes: http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa36/bigexiter/beforeandafterforks.jpg and tested what i'm pretty sure is going to be the paint for my frame. it's rustoleum's hammered silver, and it's workin...
