Please forgive me Mods if posting other vendor links is against the rules. I know some Boards frown on that. Here are several for 59.95.

Re: Scorpion EXO-400

I would have to respectfully disagree with the Monkey on the anti-fog properties of the EXO helmets. I own a 400 and a 700 and both of them fog up on me if it's cold out. The 700 has a tinted shield and seems to fog even worse. I usually have to crack the sheild and let some air in or I just open it...

Holy crap Gummy. You're either the most hardcore badazz rider I've ever seen, or clinically insane. Remind me not to complain about my 0C ride anymore.

Re: Son of a- Guy ran over two of my bikes!

Wow that sucks deeply. Sorry to hear that. At least he had insurance. And you have witneeses, and him admitting fault. I'd say notwithstanding the obvious damage to the bikes you're in good shape. And hopefully those forks can be straightened out. We really need to start making bikes out of Nerf mat...

Re: Fair Weather Riders

Holy revived dead thread Batman!! I didn't read all the posts but Thumper et al have it right. I'm a fair weather rider and I'm ok with that. I "could" ride in sub-zero temps, but why put myself through that if I don't have to? I "could" walk the 7 mile trip to work in the morning, but why when I ha...

Re: How fast is too fast ?

Short answer, I'd say 100 MPH is about my limit on the street, and I don't like going that fast for very long. With all those insane cagers, the potholes and the cops, forget it. Now a nice long runway would be pretty sweet, but the last time I tried my Tom Cruise impersonation the tower was not amu...

Re: A new Vulcan 500... now what do I do to it?

900 bucks for a 2005, wow. Someone either doesn't know squat about the value of motorcycles or it's got 75K miles on it. I still have my 2000 Vulcan with about 11K miles. It's a fun bike to ride. Very light and relatively easy to work on. I agree with Viper 100% on the brakes. After you ride a bike ...

Re: Want a real life Tron lightcycle? Just cough up US$55,00

For fifty five Large I want to see this thing going balls out down the expressway, not 5 mph in a parking lot with some punk squid trying not to drop his "light cycle" in front of his groupies.

Re: Would you consider this useful?

Nope, not useful at all. Wouldn't buy it. Anyone who relies on something like that to keep them safe is going to get messed up bad, or worse. I respect you guys for working on new ideas though. And I'm in total agreement with BuzZz on the new cage technology. This buzzer will go off if someone's in ...

Re: what have you done to your bike today?

Put some Motosliders on the SV. Changed the oil and coolant. Then proceeded to the street to show some cagers how we get down when the light goes green. Rode home, cracked open a cold one. Life is good.

This is what I picture the Grim Reaper riding when he comes to take me away.
Or a teal colored Vespa. The spirits in my vision were not entirely clear on that one.

Nice looking ride. Thanks for sharing!

Re: Bike Cops... Bad role models ?

Traffic accidents kill more law enforcement personnel than criminals do. The US is the main exception to the full gear rule for motor police, in most of the EU they wear full gear (and motor police are far more common in europe) much of it specially designed for law enforcement use, and modular hel...

You're quite right csspostal, points well taken. I should have thought about that a little bit more before I posted. Although the taste is bitter I'm not above eating some crow once in awhile.

Re: Four wheeled Motorcycle...its brilliant!

Suweet. Now I can buy something that my motorcycle can do with twice the parts on it at double the cost. I like what one person said, "I need this like a dog needs a bicycle." And good luck taking this to your local dealer when you need service. If you are that damn worried about stability stick wit...

Re: Bike Cops... Bad role models ?

Excellent explanation by Thumper. I did read the link, but I disagree with the author when he says mounting from the left side is safer. I mount and dismount from the right almost exclusively. It's just easier for me to do for some reason. I actually disagree with him on several points, but I digres...

Glad you dodged that bullet JC. One of my favorite sayings is 'Timing is Everything'. The only good thing to come out of this is the guy will go to prison and (hopefully) have his license permanently revoked. And he gets to live with the fact that he killed his friend for the rest of his dumbazz lif...

I heard they are going to start using these in the MSF courses. Looks cool, but the MPG has got to take a serious hit.

Re: People and crappy attitudes

I used to wave at other bikes religiously, but there are just soo many other bikes on the road today it is kind of meaningless. I need to get one of those plastic wavey hands on a metal spring to handle the load as to not offend anyones sensibilities when I am out riding :P I'm with you on this. Wh...
