Re: Scorpion EXO-400

Please forgive me Mods if posting other vendor links is against the rules. I know some Boards frown on that. Here are several for 59.95.

Re: Scorpion EXO-400

I would have to respectfully disagree with the Monkey on the anti-fog properties of the EXO helmets. I own a 400 and a 700 and both of them fog up on me if it's cold out. The 700 has a tinted shield and seems to fog even worse. I usually have to crack the sheild and let some air in or I just open it...

Re: A scene from today's ride

Holy crap Gummy. You're either the most hardcore badazz rider I've ever seen, or clinically insane. Remind me not to complain about my 0C ride anymore.

Re: Son of a- Guy ran over two of my bikes!

Wow that sucks deeply. Sorry to hear that. At least he had insurance. And you have witneeses, and him admitting fault. I'd say notwithstanding the obvious damage to the bikes you're in good shape. And hopefully those forks can be straightened out. We really need to start making bikes out of Nerf mat...

Re: Fair Weather Riders

Holy revived dead thread Batman!! I didn't read all the posts but Thumper et al have it right. I'm a fair weather rider and I'm ok with that. I "could" ride in sub-zero temps, but why put myself through that if I don't have to? I "could" walk the 7 mile trip to work in the mornin...

Re: How fast is too fast ?

Short answer, I'd say 100 MPH is about my limit on the street, and I don't like going that fast for very long. With all those insane cagers, the potholes and the cops, forget it. Now a nice long runway would be pretty sweet, but the last time I tried my Tom Cruise impersonation the tower was not amu...

Re: A new Vulcan 500... now what do I do to it?

900 bucks for a 2005, wow. Someone either doesn't know squat about the value of motorcycles or it's got 75K miles on it. I still have my 2000 Vulcan with about 11K miles. It's a fun bike to ride. Very light and relatively easy to work on. I agree with Viper 100% on the brakes. After you ride a bike ...

Re: Want a real life Tron lightcycle? Just cough up US$55,00

For fifty five Large I want to see this thing going balls out down the expressway, not 5 mph in a parking lot with some punk squid trying not to drop his "light cycle" in front of his groupies.

Thumper, you do know that critters can get inside your house too?
