It's a 70 bhp bike from 1982. How much power is it likely to be producing today? 60? 50?
The weight, brakes and handling are the things that _might_ flag it as non-ideal to me (but what do I know).

I was once 'making good progress' in a cage, following 200 yards or so behind another, which was really knocking on. Exited one corner, only to find the car that had previously been nailing it reversing down the middle of the road, having overshot a right hand turn into a driveway. Mad braking, up a...

I got a v-strom 650 as my first bike, but I was considering an sv650 (until I test rode it). I disagree with the comment on the brakes. They are more powerful than the 125s I learned on, sure, but they are progressive and responsive. I've had no problems with them on my bike, and I think they're the...

Brackstone might want to check if there is an arrow denoting the tire rotation to make sure... That's some sharp eyes you guys...

greetings from foggy London
Hi, new member here from London (originally from Belfast). I've (against all better judgement) bought a brand new 650 v-strom as my first bike. It was the only thing that fitted! I passed my bike test 10 years ago after 6 hours of tuition, then nothing until last month, when I just thought what the ...

Re: I'm a right turn flid
How's your eyesight? I'm pretty sure my occasional problems with left-hand U turns have to do with the fact that I have a lazy left eye. I also get an occasional mild vertigo if I'm walking with a cliff to my left, but never to my right. Probably, it's the same thing. I hadn't considered that, but ...
