I have an 02 Vstar 1100 Custom and couldn't be happier with it. I ride it to work every day, as well as putting a hundred or two miles on it on weekend days off. It has 87,000 miles on it, but looks and runs like new. It has proven itself for me.

November or December in FL good luck finding anything better than a dump for less than $100 a night. Then again the way the economy is I could be wrong. Things kinda sluggish here on the west coast as far as tourist season goes.

If you're going fast enough and throw ball bearings big enough you probably won't get chased. Atleast not by that cop.

Just an update... I was looking for inexpensive tires such as Kenda and the like, when I went on Ebay and found a slightly worn Dunlop K555 for $20 plus shipping. I asked my local shop about it, they said even a half used K555 is better than a new Kenda, so I bid and won. I've had it on for about a ...

If I could afford one I'd have one. I've read good reviews about it and it looks sweet.

x2, remember the dealer will always come out ahead, otherwise they'd be out of business.

Down here in FL, when you sign the ticket, you're admitting guilt. So right there, you'd be fighting an uphill battle in court. You never think about it when it happens, but you can refuse to sign.

If I were you I'd take the MSF first. Not that you'll be dirt riding in it or anything, but dump one of their bikes instead of yours. Even on pavement, the experience and the feel of the bike will help a little. One thing I learned about dirt and gravel is that you can't try to fight the bike. If it...

I am also in SW FL, and I try to wear gear but when it's 95 and not a cloud in the sky, it's very uncomfortable. I always wear a helmet, but if I'm just going back and forth to work, usually cargo shorts and my work shirt. If I go out riding, I go with jeans, good boots, gloves, and if it's too hot ...
