Re: Ladies - Women's first bike choice

I agree with tonya, I have a smaller weighing bike and while I'm riding and becoming better and better , I don't need the added worry of lifting it after I drop it. My bike is a Hyosung Aquila 250 and weighs a little over 300 lbs. I can stop on a dime at fast speeds but at first I would come up to a...

Re: maintenence free battery to acid

Thanks for the help on this one! It rained like crazy yesterday so couldn't take her out anyway, now I'm just gonna charge her up and learn to check the levels once a year!

The parts dept. at motorcycle shop sold me a standard (acid) battery and said that was what was listed for my bike, (hyosung gv250 aquila). I am dying to charge it so I can ride tomorrow, but need to know ...

choices for beginners

I took my MSF last spring and passed, got my license. We rode Buell blasts and I got to swich the seat out to a lower one. I was 40 year old, brand new rider and was on a tight budget to buy a bike after getting my license. Oh yeah, and a single mother who wanted my 8 year old to ride with me eventu...

LOL, that is funny, but true....I mostly did hear that I would want a bigger bike soon from dealers! I also heard it from friends of friends of friends, so who knows, that's probably where they heard it originally! I love my bike...even though sometimes it looks soooo tiny! I think it is set up to s...

newbie bike

O.k., I posted something similar on here a year or so ago and got so many conflicting responses, I thought I would tell you my experience. I took a Harley sponsored class on the Buell Blast sportbike and passed. When I went to purchase a bike I heard two things often; 1) you will want something bigg...

gv250 hyosung aquila

Hey Ladies, I am a 5'3", 109 lb beginning motorcycle rider. I passed my Riders Edge course on a Buell Blast, which is a 492cc and weighs in around 350 pounds. I had the low profile seat on it and it handled pretty good for me. I am now in the market for a new bike and can only spend $3500 or so...
