Let your technician check on the neck if you feel that it's the problem.. from what you described, it seems your bike is in pretty good condition.

Yeah, definitely. It's gonna have some issues. Whether its an air-conditioner, water enclosure, cars, or motorcycles, a lot of problems will happen if it's not been used for 2 years.

I don't think gas can boil when it's used as fuel on your bike. There are certain mechanisms that prevent this from happening although nothing is fool proof.

If the red is only on the outside flat surface of the links, than it is only cosmetic.

If the red is around the o-rings, the chain is failing.

At 1200 miles, it should only be cosmetic.....

So is the red in the o-ring area, or just the flat part of the links
