Yes, South Carolina. I had the beginner's course this weekend but if you pass the intermediate course they will waive the state required test at the DMV.

I plan on trying the intermediate course in the spring.

Finished MSF course this weekend

 I just finished my MSF course and I must say it was more than I had expected. I left there feeling very confident in the handling of the bike. I have just purchased my first bike - a used 2005 Suzuki C50 with 2600 miles - and all my reseach showed the Suzuki was very, very similar to the Vulcan 900. So similar that they were a virtual toss-up to potential buyers. My thoughts all along, originally, were to buy a new black, Vulcan 900 - unti...

I have decided to go with the full-face. Almost everyone I have spoken with , and of course the opinions here, say go with the full-face. Not a one recommended the 3/4.

I borrowed a friends today and took a short ride with it and it was not as bad riding as I had imagined. Thanks for your input.

Maybe it's the shield - I use to have a boat and never liked driving while sitting behind the windshield - I always stood on one knee in my seat or sat on the back of my seat in order to get m...

JohnJ - thanks - I am taking it to be checked by a Suzuki dealer next week. I've looked it over pretty good but I am going to get them to do a complete service. blues2cruise - great advice - I'll be in the garage tonight  Anyone - what type of helmet do you recommend - full face or 3/4? I l...

Bike day for me too

well Monday actually was the official bike day. Bought a 2005 Suzuki C50 with only 2600 miles. Bike was in a guys storage building with dust and cobwebs. Brought it home and shined it up - man it looks brand new. Seriously , other than a small scratch on the front fender this bike is still new. I am...
