Re: This Week - 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 250R: Vote and Discuss

Great bike for beginner and expert alike! Although I ride a liter bike as my regular ride, I've greatly enjoyed riding the 250 Ninja. In fact, on the tightest of roads, the little Ninja (in my hands) left a lot of bigger, faster bikes behind. Tons of fun!

Re: Death at the TT

As much as I love the TT and it's history, I believe that modern motorcycles have simply outgrown it. Today's bikes are just too fast for a street course. :-(

I ride all year as well. And whenever I'm feeling a little blue/stressed/or otherwise crappy, a quickie 50 miler through my local twisties brings me back to life! :-)

No problem...the snow is being trucked from Manning Park to Cypress Mountain. :) Locally around the city here it is mild and no snow....however..... Whistler/Blackcomb has lots of snow. I'm getting my gear on now and riding to work. Tired of the tourists yet? They are only just...

When things wear out or break on my bikes, I always consider it a chance to upgrade. If, for example, I was in your place, I'd be shopping for a Fox, Ohlins or other shock for my bike. I rationalize it by saying: "I'm gonna have to spend money anyway, so why not spend a little more and make it bett...

Thanks guy's. Ya'll want to come over and help. Do I need any special tools? Would like to do this myself. The easiest way is to just replace the shock. Or remove the unit and send it to someone that specializes in rebuilding. When things wear out or break on my bikes, I always consider it a chance...

The longer you ride the bike with a blown shock seal, the sooner that shock stops any damping chores and becomes nothing more than a spring holder. If you don't mind riding a bike with a wildly bouncing rear wheel, that's no problem. If you like having the back tire on the ground and giving tractio...

Re: What bike

The EN-1 is a good one, I would stay with some lite. 500cc to 750cc. The Buell Blast is good and so is the 883. The 993 flet cramp to me and I am 6ft too. the EN 500 is a good one, there is alot out there you will just have sit on some and see what one is you. I agree -- somewhat -- except for your...

Preserve your rights!

Friends,

If you have any interest in riding dirt bikes, I suggest you follow this link:

Our state and federal governments have already restricted dirt riding and now there are more restrictions on the way!

Gummiente convinced me to get a sidecar rig. now I ride that on the 6-8 snow/ice days we have just south of DC. Year round baby  You guys are nuts! Below 40 degrees, I'm done! And really, it's not being cold so much, but rather my tires just don't stick! And since I'm only using TWO WHEELS...

Ok, the video is 4 years old, but stupid behavior that probably scarred that girl for life, is timeless!

Makes me glad that I always wear a FF helmet. I have heard of open faced helmets allowing the rider's broken lower jaw to be pushed through the spinal cord whilst the rider kisses the rear end of a car. BTW op, that pic of of your S40 engine... I just love the look of that thing. Nothing like a big...
