Re: Idle adjustment for an 82 Suzuki GS1100GK Full Dress
Yep, there's a throttle stop screw (has detents so you can grab it with your fingers and a philips head to use a screwdriver on it) between the number 2 and 3 carbs facing what would be the rear of the gas tank if it was on the bike. Idle adjustment for an 82 Suzuki GS1100GK Full Dress
I have just recently purchased a 1982 Suzuki GS1100GK Full Dress Touring Edition. I also own a same year Kawasaki KZ1100A, the reason that I told THAT, is because unlike the KZ, which has an idle adjustment screw between the first and second carburetor facing back, which by simply turning it, you ad...

Re: Poll: What type of motorcycle do you have??
I am the very proud owner of a Classic Kawasaki KZ1100 With the FULL Vetter Touring setup. By THAT, I mean the FRAME mounted front fairing that has the needed hardware to add the complete stereo setup if I could ever FIND ONE! The hard saddlebags are the ones that, with a twist of the ignition key i...

Re: greetings from new member from Montana
First things first, my real name is Glenn Merideth, but most know me as Casper ( like the friendly ghost ) for reasons that would take so long to tell, that I would be labeled a windbag. Having grown up on a farm, I've been riding otorcycles since I was 8 or 9. My first road bike was an early 80's ...

final drive type
The type of final drive in regular everyday motorcycles is really not a point to cosider if you love everything else about the bike that you are looking at, but, here are some things to consider: shaft drive, while being the least maintenance, does rob the bike of some HP. in a 1300-1800 cc bike, th...

not enough power 4 my vlx
in reading your reply, you stated that yours is a 96 model, you see, mine is a 2007, and your has dual carbs, when Honda changed to a single carb in I think it was 1999 or 2000, they detuned it to the tune of about 10 HP, which is about what I'm trying to get ack, well, around 10-20 HP, whatever my ...
