One more thing, tho.....the bike has stalled when coming to a hard stop ever since it was new, before I did anything to it. I've been able to alter the problem, but never make it go away completely.

I have zero aftermarket electrical items on my bike. However I have had the carbs off the bike probably 50 times in the past 9 years, trying to find the perfect jetting setup with various combinations of headers, mufflers, and air filters. The leaking manifold theory seems possible.

My 99 Bandit 1200 does the same thing. It always has, to one degree or another, since I bought it new in 1999. I've messed around with the jets, and tried raising the floats in the carbs, but the problem has not completely gone away.

I'd love to hear other ideas.
