Re: Could you help me with naming the model of this bike?
Congrats on getting those pics, and thank you for sharing! I will admit I am envious, I am still blessed to have my dad around, but no pictures of him when he used to race in the 50s and 60s. He still has a couple of his enduros stashed in our barn. I really want to get my hands on them and get them...

Re: Do you name your bike(s)?
Out of my bikes the only two I've named are my Burgman, which I call, "Blue Max" and my 82 Honda which I call The Beast as well, amongst other things.

Re: "brand new" 2007/2008 motorcycle questions.
I saw many simalr issues when I was shopping for my Versys. It all really depends on the desperation of the individual dealer. I personally would makesure you still get full warranty and try at about 2500 less than MSRP. Good luck. If it has been kept in a temperature/climate controlled environment ...

Congrats on the win, Mark and a nice one at that. That is a great win, keep approaching it with a level head and I second wrider's advice about the guards. I will admit I am  with envy, that is my favorite bike made by HD. Keep dropping by this is a great community, a lot od great support, ...

Buell shows off a new street bike? and H-D exits Sidecars
by Jeremy Korzeniewski You've got to hand it to Erik Buell. The man was dealt a very bad hand by his ex-employers at Harley-Davidson, but Buell decided to take a bowl of lemons and make some tasty lemonade. The first batch of sweet citrusy goodness came as Buell formed his eponymous racing team, but...

I love May in Minnesota. Not too hot, not too cold, and I love the fresh spring smells. The flowers, fields being planted etc, etc.

Re: Buying your DREAM bike, as a brand new rider...
I completely agree. I am glad I worked my way to my current bike over the 2 years. (This is my 3rd summer as a regular rider and about to hit my 15,000 mile mark) I am working my way STILL to my dream bike but couldn't be happier to even wait for my Versys I got this spring. Great Advice!
