Sorry for the delay getting back to the post. It runs at this temperature in around the town riding, alot of stop and go but not alot of traffic. The fan kicks in around 225 and lowers the temp to 215 and shuts off regularly.

On a typical 60 degree day the bike runs at about 226 degrees. This seems a bit high. I have checked Honda manuals a can't find any running temperature range, only the overtemp mark. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of what this bike typically runs at?

I've been off a bike since the seventies but recently my daughter got a deal on a used bike and started to ride. Wouldn't you know it, that long lost bug got to me. I'm back riding her bike and having a great time. Looking forward to learning and enjoying this more through your great forum.
