first time, 83 Goldwing, kid stepped off a curb in front of me.
second time, 83 Goldwing, car ran red light, put bike down so not hit car.
third time 83 Goldwing, oil slick in rain 38 degrees 75 mph. engine hit redline and bike went backwards in less than 1 second, totaled bike.

DO NOT QUIT... Ride as long as you can. it might hurt sometimes but it will keep you head young. And that is what counts.

I had a friend that rode until 86 years young. Keep going. his eyes went bad.

Glasses then Helmet, I have a quick release on the helmet so I can remove it with my gloves on. put glasses back on then remove my jacket, I will not get into the other stuff.

I like a small group and sometimes SOLO. but the last couple of years my friends have quit riding or ride so slowly I do not like riding with them anymore. So I am SOLO for now.

the only time I would take my bike to a dealer is if it was under warranty and the problem was MAJOR.

Mine is great also... on our 3rd date I took her on her first ride, got hit by a car and she broke her arm. she refused a car ride home, bike was not badly damaged. I rode her back home on the bike. today its 35 years married.
