Honda Rebel gear

I am a newbie of course and love, love, love my new-to-me '05 Rebel. I want to ride to work and the gym so need saddle bags. I'm having a problem finding a small set for my small bike. I would like synthetic looks-like-leather bags. I've googled all over. Any suggestions would be appreciated. This i...

Honda Rebel bags

I have an '05 Honda Rebel I just purchased. I'm a newbie, (took the MSF course a couple of years ago and haven't ridden much). I LOVE my new bike. I have no desire to ride fast but do envy you experienced bikers. I'm a late bloomer! Anyhow, I want to ride my bike to work and the gym so need some bag...

Thanks for all the great tips! I'll get all the info and be ready! I'll call the U-Haul place and double check the tie down situation.

Can't wait to ride!!!

Thanks Mike. I just learned I can rent a small U-Haul for about $20. I've decided my peace of mind is worth that! Since I'll be on the interstate for over 5 hrs I might as well bring home a nice bike without rock dings!

Can hardly wait!!!

I have a Fieldsheer jacket and it is super. The liner comes comes out adding to the versatility. It has reflective piping and great protective features. I got a good deal on it but I would've paid full price. I have an HJC helmet and it's excellent. I went with full face protection all the way. Make...

Hauling bike

I'm going to pick up my gorgeous '05 Rebel this weekend. It's a 6 hr drive but I feel lucky to have found one this nice for this price! My question is the best way to protect it driving down the interstate using a utility trailer to haul it. A tarp or similar will likely just blow off. Suggestions? ...

Honda Rebel

I didn't really have problems with the XT 225 but the clutch was a bit grabby compared to another bike I rode. Naturally the seating position is different and I'm hoping that will be a comfortable, easy adjustment. Thanks...I'm hoping this little cruiser will be the ticket! The Rebel has sure been a...

Hey

Hey everyone! I'm a newbie. I took the MSF course 2 years ago this spring and bought a Yamaha XT 225 that I enjoyed but had to sell due to finances. I didn't ride last year but a couple of times before selling it. I really want to ride this year...found an '06 Honda Rebel which I think will be ideal...
