Thats the only downside to more people riding is more people getting hurt or killed due to improper training or careless cagers.

Covers are not too expensive, but I suppose it all depends on how much character you want your bike to have. :scooter:

I've heard of this stuff called Frogg Togg. It's a heat resistant panel that glues onto the legs.

Well that's a bummer dude. Perhaps you may want to consider a Security Theft system for your next bike. I hear Guard Dawg makes good ones that aren't too expensive. Good luck in the future. My sympathies.

You can also just buy individual parts from Kuryakyn or Show Chrome. Most dealer sites have them available, but usually just for little things like brake reservoir covers or billet stuff. Still, you can do a little chroming and most of the parts just fits over the stock so it's easy to install.

The sequence of hardware is: Bolt, fender washer, box, cutting board, rack, nylock nut.
Shouldn't duct tape be in that formula somewhere?

Just kidding. Red Green would approve

You gotta love life though. One little bump costs you thousands of dollars and days or possibly weeks of headaches. You just have to take it all in stride, laugh about it, and try not to rip someone's head off.

Several jackets have reflective piping built into them, so even black ones have a little bit of an ability to have you be seen, but the florescent is definitely the best bet for safety. I don't think they look dorky. They look smart. Here is a jacket suggestion for ceemes http://www.compacc.com/p.cf...

The lithium battery is nice but I just have to remember to charge it after I ride. Still better than h...

I just picked up this awesome Arai
http://www.compacc.com/p.cfm/c/9001000/p/16699

It fits great, lightweight and keeps my head cool. God forbid I actually wreck with it, but I know it would protect me. Totally worth the $400.

If your really worried about a place charging you too much for a helmet or getting one the right size, I would use this site... http://www.compacc.com/Helmets.cfm I bought an Arai from them recently and just used the sizing chart they provided. Plus they have gloves and boots if you are still intere...
